These terms govern your use of skintheoryinc.com and related services offered by Skin Theory Inc. (“Skin Theory,” “we,” “us”). By using this website, you agree to these terms.
Our structure. Skin Theory Inc. is a management services organization. All medical services are provided by Derm Theory IVM, Inc., a California medical corporation, under Kevin T. Do, M.D. Skin Theory does not practice medicine.
No medical advice. Website content is for general information only and is not medical advice. Treatment decisions are made only after an in-person consultation with a licensed provider. Individual results vary.
Appointments. Booking requests are confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from us. Cancellation, deposit, and no-show terms: [insert your current policy, e.g., 24-hour notice required].
Pricing and offers. Prices, promotions, and memberships may change without notice. Offers cannot be combined unless stated and have no cash value.

Skin Theory SMS Program Terms

Program description. Skin Theory Inc. (“Skin Theory”) offers two text message programs. Appointment texts include reminders, confirmations, rescheduling notices, and account updates. Marketing texts include offers, events, and new service announcements. You may join either program or both.
How you opt in. You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our website or in-office intake forms, or by texting a keyword we publish to our number. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.
Message frequency. Appointment text frequency varies based on your bookings. Marketing texts are sent up to [4] times per month.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Skin Theory does not charge for text messages.
How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You may also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts from that program. To rejoin, reply START.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.
Health information. We do not include diagnoses, treatment details, or other medical information in marketing texts. Appointment texts contain only the details needed to manage your visit.
Privacy. Your information is handled under our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Changes. We may update these terms. Continued participation after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
